Get to know Resident, Dr. Stacey Elengickal-Thomas, in Reading, Pennsylvania.

A specialist in the field of family medicine, Dr. Elengickal-Thomas is currently serving her residency in family medicine at Penn State St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. 

A 204-bed acute care hospital, Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center serves the Berks region with outpatient and inpatient diagnostic, medical, and surgical services on its Bern Township, Pa., and downtown Reading campuses. Founded in 1873 by the Sisters of St. Francis, St. Joseph Medical Center has earned national accreditations for its centers of excellence in the treatment of chest pain, stroke, heart failure, and cancer.

A graduate of Atlantic University School of Medicine, Dr. Elengickal graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health/General Health Sciences from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in 2015. Two years later, in 2017, she earned her Master of Business Administration degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University.

Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, she served as a research trainee at Mayo Clinic (October 2017 – February 2019) and as a medical data entry physician at AdviNOW Medical (January 2018 – October 2019).
